What other healthcare professionals are available on site?
A registered nurse is rostered on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, supported by qualified care team members. In addition, visiting healthcare professionals including general practitioners, physiotherapists, speech pathologists, and allied health specialists are part of our care network and attend as required. Please speak with our team about visiting schedules at your preferred Comficare residence.
What happens if a resident's health needs increase over time?
Comficare is committed to ageing in place. This means that as a person’s care needs evolve, they are able to remain in their home at Comficare, supported by an increased level of clinical and personal care. We do not require older person to relocate when their health needs change, because continuity and stability matter deeply to the people we care for.
